Heritage Inverclyde Coastal Trail
This project forms part of Inverclyde Council’s Heritage Inverclyde initiative, which aims to raise awareness of the area’s history.,
The trail runs from Langbank to Wemyss Bay and goes past some of Inverclyde’s landmark and heritage sites, such as Newark Castle and the Comet in Port Glasgow, the Titan Crane and Custom House in Greenock, Cloch Lighthouse in Gourock and finishes with the iconic railway station and pier at Wemyss Bay. The trail includes several waterside walks and cycle routes along the way.
Border Signs & Graphics manufactured bespoke design lecterns and benches in steel and oak. The structures have elements of laser-cut graphics, routed graphics and Multiguard® interpretive panels.
The National Civil War Centre – Nottinghamshire
Border Signs & Graphics manufactured a number of upright structures in steel for The National Civil War Centre in Newark – Nottinghamshire. All the panels have “trigger” pictures for Augmented Reality. Visitors of the museum can download an app for their smartphone and can bring these interpretive panels to life.
Benfield Volkswagen – Dumfries
To mark the anniversary of Volkswagen Golf, Border Signs & Graphics designed and installed a special 70’s theme for some of the cars on the forecourt at Benfield Volkswagen, Dumfries
Luss – Loch Lomond
Border Signs & Graphics worked in-conjunction with Sarah Crome, of SS Crome Associates, to create a series of bespoke lecterns and an upright structure for Luss Estates
The Great Glen Ways
The Great Glen Ways, the cycle path from Inverness to Fort William. Border Signs & Graphics manufactured a number of structures, such as monolith’s, lecterns and way markers.
Border Signs & Graphics designed, manufactured and installed various signs, outdoor interpretation lecterns, ornate directional posts, and notice boards for Silloth Green – Cumbria.
King George V Playing Field, Creetown
Border Signs & Graphics worked alongside Steve Pardue of Differentia Design who created this panel and structure. All manufacture was implemented by Border Signs & Graphics.
In a joint project, Steve Pardue of Differentia created this bespoke design and Border Signs & Graphics carried out the manufacture and installation of this lectern.
Border Signs & Graphics worked in-conjunction with Steve Pardue, of Differentia Design, to create a series of panels for the reserve at Flanders Moss: Scottish Natural Nature Reserves.
This project included 7 lecterns, 2 upright structures and a stone cairn to highlight the heritage of New Cumnock.
Teesmouth and Cleveland Coast
Border Signs & Graphics manufactured and installed these European Marine Site information AO panels and structures to colours and style agreed with Tees Coast.
Border Signs & Graphics installed 18 structures in the North Tyneside coastal route. This design allows information panels and directional arrows to be sited in the same place.
North Uist Doctor Memorial Plaque
Border Signs & Graphics were in consultation with North Uist Community Group to manufacture a memorial plaque to be officially unveiled by North Uist born Dr John Gillies, chairman of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
Using our in-house design team, we were instrumental in creating this very unique shaped plaque for the community.
Materials used are chemically etched stainless steel and solid granite base.
Bike @ Glenlivet
The design team were heavily involved in the design and manufacture of bike trail signage at Glenlivet which is owned by the Crowne Estate.
This project comprised of entrance signs, outdoor interpretation panels, waymarkers and general signage.
As part of the project Border Signs & Graphics also designed and printed 20,000 Glenlivet brochures.
